THE SHIFT IN MINDSET THAT CHANGED MY LIFE
I got my brokers license shortly after graduating college and started a business helping parents of highschool graduates buy homes for their kids who were going to college. It was a simple yet innovative idea where their child could rent out the other rooms to their roommates and potentially cash flow on the property, alleviating the financial stressors that can accompany pursuing higher education.
I learned very quickly that your network is your net worth, and made this my mantra.

I was so obsessed with extracting value from my network that I wanted everyone to be able to do this.
With a few friends we created an algorithm to do this called the Powerscore. We got funding from investors to build a product out of this idea, but even the strongest ideas need support and experience to get off the ground.
Our team lacked experience launching a high tech product and I suddenly found myself over $20k in debt. This was the lowest of the lows. I knew something needed to change; I started therapy and worked on staying grounded in my career.
I got proactive and read every self help book I could get my hands on, teaching my friends what I learned along the way. It felt fulfilling to help. I knew this was a part of my calling to help others,
So they wouldn't have to endure the pain I did of having less than nothing.
I utilized my network to get a job at Uber, then parlayed that into more leadership positions at Real Estate Tech companies like Peerspace and Inspectify.
With each leap forward in my career, my desire for growth and expansion only grew stronger, so I leveraged my expertise and in my off-time founded a company to start stabilizing investment properties for investors.
